Tales from a Cello Newb, Part 3 ~ Savoring the experience of playing in a beginner orchestra and the reality that I couldn't continue my commitment to playing the cello. I'll forever be grateful my teacher took a chance on me.
Great inspiring story, Deb! I’ll come back to listen to the audio in the daytime. I’m in bed but cant sleep, but of course my husband is asleep. But this reminds me that I put learning to play the violin or fiddle on my someday list long ago, and eventually decided it was too late for me. Perhaps I should reconsider. Or perhaps I should re-commit to my Substack. Anyway, I really enjoyed this series, thanks for sharing!
Thank you Cherie, I appreciate your kind words. Yes, give it a whirl...being in your beginner mind is frustrating growth experience and you'll learn things on the journey you would never have learned.
Aw - I hate that you had to give up something you loved doing! I'm hopeful you'll find space for it again though, life can be funny that way 🤞
Yes, it can be. Thanks for reading & stopping by!

As usual, a wonderful, poignant story that had me falling for that Cello, too! Thank you!💗
Thank you dear Lynn. I still love cello music…it speaks to the deepest part of me.
