After getting a smoking airfare deal, we spent a long weekend last June in Asheville, North Carolina. The first day, we walked downtown and checked out all the beautiful murals.
It's been a while since I visited Asheville and my eyes nearly popped out of my head at all those gorgeous murals. Seeing the city through this art shakes up my memories of that place. Great phtos.
It had been an artsy city back in the early 1990s when I visited, but more pottery and canvas painting. The murals add so much to the aesthetic of the city. Looking forward to seeing more.
